Supreme Court to Hear Yanukovich’s Appeal

Ukraine’s Supreme Court agreed to hear an appeal of the outcome of last month’s presidential election, further delaying President-elect Viktor Yushchenko’s inauguration.
Former Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich, who lost the runoff by 8 percentage points, has asked the court to order a new election, but acknowledges that he has no hope of success.
