The Sudanese air force bombed villagers in South Darfur, observers from the African Union reported, and an international aid organization said people were wounded.

“It is a major cease-fire violation,” AU political officer Jean Baptiste Natama said. The attack happened outside the town of Shangil Tobaya, about 40 miles south of Fasher, an aid group official in Khartoum said.
