1 Killed in Plane Crash; 4 Use Iceberg to Survive
From Times Wire Reports
One person drowned after a single-engine plane crashed in a lake and sank near Seward.
Four others aboard the plane survived by climbing onto an iceberg, authorities said in Anchorage.
The four were rescued after a search plane spotted “small black dots on a small iceberg,” state trooper Greg Wilkinson said. All were treated at a hospital for minor injuries and released, he said.
