Bomb Attack Wounds 20 in Seaside Resort Town
From Times Wire Reports
Twenty people were wounded in a bombing at a Turkish resort popular with tourists, and a Kurdish rebel group said it was behind the attack.
The Kurdistan Liberation Hawks, a militant wing of the banned Kurdistan Workers Party, or PKK, said it had planted the bomb in the Aegean Sea town of Cesme, according to the Germany-based Mesopotamian News Agency, which often reports rebel statements.
The explosives were stashed in a soda bottle placed in a garbage can, police said.
