Ludlow Sworn In as Head of Labor Agency

Union delegates used a voice vote Monday night to elect Martin Ludlow secretary-treasurer of the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor.
He was sworn in after the vote.
Later this week, Ludlow will head to Chicago for the national convention of the AFL-CIO. Several major member unions -- including the Service Employees International Union and the Teamsters -- have threatened to break away from the AFL-CIO.
