Vehicular manhandling

Re Howard Leff’s “Vehicles That Fail the Crush Test” [July 21]: So true, so hilarious. Takes me back to high school and my first car, a 1936 Plymouth sedan. In those days, anything from Chrysler was considered an embarrassment to the under-30 crowd. Well, I traded up to a ’41 Ford convertible with fender skirts and had to beat the girls off with a stick.
