France Hands Over Car Diana Was Riding In
From Times Wire Reports
Eight years after Princess Diana died in a crash, the car she was riding in has been sent from France to Britain for forensic examination, police said.
The wrecked Mercedes was shipped to London on Wednesday. It was involved in an Aug. 31, 1997, collision that killed Diana, her companion, Dodi Fayed, and their driver, Henri Paul. The only survivor was Diana’s bodyguard, Trevor Rees-Jones.
