Council Approves Redevelopment Project
The City Council on Tuesday approved the latest version of a redevelopment project at Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street, near the Red Line subway stop.
The project will include 350 rental apartments, 145 condominiums and a 296-room hotel. Seventy-four apartments will be for low-income tenants.
The developers -- Legacy Partners for the apartments, and Gatehouse Capital and HEI Hospital Fund for the hotel and condos -- have to acquire several properties before the project can go forward, officials say.
