Murder, Other Violent Crime Down, FBI Says

The number of murders fell last year for the first time since 1999, part of a nationwide decline in all types of violent crime, according to new FBI data.
Cities with more than 1 million people had the greatest decrease in violent crime, 5.4%, while cities under 10,000 saw the greatest decrease in murder, 12.2%.
