Molson Coors Says SEC Requests Merger Data

Molson Coors Brewing Co. said the Securities and Exchange Commission requested documents on first-quarter results and the $3.4-billion merger that created the world’s fifth-largest brewer, after investors claimed the company misled them about declining sales.

The lawsuits allege that the company failed to disclose a slump in revenue before shareholders approved the merger of Adolph Coors Co. and Molson Inc. in January and February.
