L.A. Needs ‘Potty Parity’

Share

Tucked away on Page A19 (June 7) was a small article about New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg signing a “potty parity” bill that says what women have long said, “We need twice as many toilets as men.”

Among the many moments I have missed waiting for an open stall, an entire inning of a World Series game at Dodger Stadium (when the Dodgers actually made it into the World Series) stands out.

I suspect many other women join me in applauding New York for its forward thinking. Will Los Angeles soon follow?
