Ford Recalls 258,779 Pickups, SUVs

Ford Motor Co. is recalling 258,779 vehicles, mostly late-model Super Duty pickups, that may leak fuel or stall.

Ford will recall 180,104 of its 2004 and 2005 Super Duty pickups and Excursion sport utility vehicles with 6-liter diesel engines for stalling. The Dearborn, Mich.-based automaker is separately recalling 78,675 of the 2005 Super Duty pickups with 5.4-liter or 6.8-liter gasoline engines to fix fuel leaks.
