Re “GOP Committee Targets International Red Cross,” June 15: So now it appears that the administration water carriers in the Senate are trying to cut the funds the U.S. sends to the International Red Cross because that organization won’t toe the administration line about the state of the prisons for alleged terrorists. Is there no place on this planet for people to speak their minds without the long, punitive tentacles of the Bush administration reaching them?
