Judge Denies Request to Move Cuban Exile’s Case

U.S. Immigration Judge William L. Abbott has refused a request to move the asylum case of Cuban exile Luis Posada Carriles from El Paso to Florida.
Posada, 77, is wanted in Venezuela in the 1976 bombing of a Cuban airliner. He asked to shift his immigration case to Miami because his lawyer was based there. A bail hearing Friday will go on as scheduled, a government lawyer said.
