Anyone who ever saw Chanel fitting her clothes on the Rue Cambron -- as I once memorably did when young -- will need no more than a glance at the photograph in Calendar [“Two for the Runway,” by Booth Moore, May 4] of “her” dresses in the current Metropolitan Museum Chanel/Karl Lagerfeld exhibition to know that Madam is spinning in her grave. Those sad-sack models, that monsoon-mud and black stapled binding, that hang-dog stance and, most of all those sagging hems -- come on!
