‘Crash’ proponent

I saw the movie “Crash” and came away with a much different opinion than Carina Chocano [“Racists Get Equal Opportunities to Hate in Awkward ‘Crash,’ ” May 6]. Indeed, I think she completely misses the point of the film! I think that Paul Haggis is showing us the complexity of people, that we all have many inner beings, and that people change! It’s difficult to discuss the film without giving away what happens, but I was completely enthralled with the fluidity in the movie, with the changes and growth that take place in the characters. We are all shaped and changed by what happens to us, and “Crash” shows this very well.
