A Culinary Passing Fad

Re “Tonight’s Special Is Paper,” Column One, May 11: I love food. I love to cook. I love to eat. I find nothing in this newest attempt at charging enormous sums of money to “experience” a passing (hopefully soon) fad that would hold any degree of interest or even mild curiosity. Sadly, it appears to be yet another example of our ability to cater to the self-indulgence of the elite in this country. I am now going to prepare my husband a beautifully cooked steak and a fresh-tasting Caesar salad.
