52 Hurt by Madrid Car Bomb Blamed on ETA
From Times Wire Reports
Suspected Basque rebels detonated a car bomb in Madrid, injuring 52 people, five seriously.
An anonymous warning on behalf of the separatist group ETA to a newspaper preceded the blast in a working-class neighborhood of Spain’s capital, officials said.
Police had time to cordon off the area before the blast, which shattered windows and damaged cars.
