In Wendy’s Finger Case, the Rest of Us Lose

Regarding “For CEO, Restraint Was No Easy Order” (May 23):
I hope that the full force and weight of the law is thrown at the woman [who alleged to have bitten into part of a human finger while eating at a Wendy’s restaurant] in this case of flagrant, self-serving fraud.
This is not about stealing from some “big, fat corporation,” so “who cares?”
This is about stealing from all the rest of us; from all those people who do have legitimate claims of wrongdoing on the part of corporate America.
If fraud like this wins, the rest of us lose, not just “big guys.”
