William Lyon Homes said third-quarter net income fell 15% to $38 million, or $4.39 a share, from $44.9 million, or $4.51, a year earlier. The Newport Beach-based builder said operating revenue from home sales fell 24% to $358.8 million. Net home orders rose 27% to 834.
