Soldier, Woman Plead Guilty in Stabbing

An Army sergeant and the wife of a sailor, who had become romantically involved after meeting on the Internet, pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court to attempting to kill her husband.
Sgt. Jason Wayne Cline, 27, and SharonMarie Ball, 29, pleaded guilty to stabbing Petty Officer 2nd Class John J. Ball at North Island Naval Air Station in April. Ball survived.
Each defendant faces a maximum 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine when sentenced Feb. 6.
