Holiday closures

Today is Thanksgiving. The following schedule will be in effect in observance of the holiday:
Schools: Public schools, community colleges, UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton, and Chapman University will be closed today and Friday.
Mail: There will be no delivery today, and post offices will be closed. Post offices will open Friday and delivery will resume.
Public transportation: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on a Sunday/holiday schedule today and return to normal schedule Friday. Information: (714) 636- RIDE. Metrolink Trains will run on a limited schedule for Inland Empire-Orange County lines today. Information: (800) 371-LINK.
Libraries: Most will be closed today and Friday.
Banks: Most will be closed today; most will be open Friday.
Trash collection: No pickup today; collections will be one day late for the rest of the week.
Government: All city, county and federal offices and courts will be closed today and Friday.
