Ineos Enterprises to Buy BP Unit for $9 Billion

Ineos Enterprises said it would buy Innovene, BP’s petrochemical subsidiary, for $9 billion. The deal, subject to U.S. and European regulatory approval, would make British-based Ineos the world’s fourth-largest independent petrochemical company.
