Air Force Academy’s No. 3 Being Transferred
From Times Wire Reports
The Air Force announced in Colorado Springs that the No. 3 commander at the Air Force Academy was being transferred, a month after being cleared of charges that he had used his position to proselytize non-Christian cadets.
Brig. Gen. Johnny Weida, an avowed born-again Christian, has been the academy’s commandant of cadets since April 2003. He will become director of capabilities integration and transformation at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
