2 Held in ’04 Attack on U.S. Envoy, Regime Says

Yemen is holding two men on suspicion of trying to assassinate the U.S. ambassador a year ago, according to a government-run website.
The main suspect had attempted to throw a grenade at the ambassador, Edmund Hull, at a shopping center in the capital, Sana, said the website of the September 26 newspaper, which is published by Yemen’s armed forces.
The men were being questioned and could be brought to trial soon, it said.
