Protection at Animal Workers’ Homes OKd

The City Council approved a motion Wednesday that would provide surveillance equipment to Department of Animal Services employees likely to be targets of harassment, threats or vandalism at their homes.

Activists have held protests at the homes of several employees over the last two years. Some of the employees have had their homes vandalized.
