16-Year-Old Suspect Gets $1-Million Bail
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Bail was set Friday at $1 million for a 16-year-old youth facing murder charges as an adult in the death of Pamela Vitale, the wife of prominent defense attorney Daniel Horowitz.
Authorities have not identified the teenager because he is a minor. Police said they had not yet determined a motive in the crime.
Vitale was bludgeoned to death in the mobile home in which she and her husband were living while they built a new home on the property.
