School Bus and Truck Collide, Killing Four

A truck and a school bus collided in Hertford, setting both vehicles on fire and killing four people in the truck, authorities said.
The truck driver, bus driver and all 40 students aboard the bus were taken to hospitals. The bus driver and all but one of the students were released, said Perquimans County schools spokeswoman Brenda Lassiter.
The bus was hit from behind while leaving a stop, said North Carolina State Highway Patrol trooper Ernest D. Goodwin Jr.
