L.A. Man, 35, Was Pilot Killed in Plane Crash

A pilot killed when his small plane crashed off Santa Catalina Island was identified Friday by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office as Arnaud Brierre, 35, of Los Angeles.
A passenger survived the crash, which occurred Wednesday after the plane developed engine trouble, officials said.
