A wealthy U.S. businessman is running in Haiti’s first presidential election since Jean-Bertrand Aristide fled into exile in February 2004.
Dumarsais Simeus, owner of a Texas-based food processing company, was born in Haiti. More than 20 people are candidates in the Nov. 20 vote.
