Awash in the blues

Regarding “Rhapsody in Blue” [Sept. 6]: We found ourselves surrounded by blue whales in the middle of the St. Lawrence Seaway. In a small Zodiac boat, we spotted our first blue whale, then several more, then fin whales. The blues surfaced all around us, treating us to partial flukes until we were blessed with a wonderful full fluke.
