From Times Wire Reports

The Pentagon cleared the way to resume the long-delayed military trial of David Hicks, an Australian detainee at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, starting from scratch by dismissing two of three remaining tribunal members.

Officials said hearings would resume between Oct. 3 and 20. The trial was put on hold last year.

Hicks, held for more than 3 years at the U.S. naval base, has pleaded not guilty to charges of aiding the enemy, attempted murder by an unprivileged belligerent and conspiracy to commit war crimes.
