Jackpot Winner Luckier Than He First Realized

Retiree Ralph Acridge is the winner of a $50-million jackpot, state lottery officials announced.
Acridge purchased the SuperLotto Plus ticket Saturday but misread his numbers and didn’t know he had won the jackpot until the next day.
“I have been playing these numbers for 20 years, and I thought I had won $1,217 until Sunday morning,” Acridge said in a statement.
