Gas price culprits

Share

If you are like me and believe gasoline prices are too high, make sure you blame the individuals who are responsible.

In a free country, the law of supply and demand establishes prices. At the present time, we have a shortage of supply, which is the result of the hurricanes, a shortage of refineries and the numerous gasoline formulas established by environmental regulations.

The real culprits are the politicians who were cajoled by extreme environmentalists to establish and continue restrictive regulations that have kept companies from building new refineries for approximately 25 years and to restrict the standardization of gasoline.
