True grits, Georgia style

THANKS for the article (“Grits,” March 29). I was raised by Southern parents, and grits have always been a part of my diet. But coarse grits have been difficult, if not impossible, to find in local markets.

Several years ago, my sister-in-law in Alabama turned me on to Nora Mill Granary in Georgia. Their best “Dixie Ice Cream” grits, which are stone-ground and very coarse, are available online at www.noramill.com.
