Tentative Deal Reached in Denver Transit Strike

Denver’s mass transit agency and its largest employee union reached a tentative contract agreement that could settle a 3-day-old strike, a federal mediator said.
Union members planned to continue their walkout, which has inconvenienced thousands of commuters, at least until the union votes on the offer Friday, mediator Christel Jorgensen said.
Details of the proposed pact will not be announced until after the vote, Jorgensen said.
