Wildfire Forces 40 Homes to Be Evacuated
From Times Wire Reports
An out-of-control wildfire on steep, rocky terrain destroyed at least one house and charred several thousand acres, forcing the evacuation of 40 homes, fire officials said.
The blaze on Bull Mountain near the North Carolina state line was expected to burn for several days.
