Vegas scares up Halloween fest
Really, is there anything spookier than Las Vegas? The answer turns out to be yes: Halloween in Las Vegas. The lineup for the second annual Vegoose Music Festival was announced Wednesday and the bill includes Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Killers, the Raconteurs, Widespread Panic, the Mars Volta, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, the Roots, the Black Crowes, Fiona Apple and Jurassic 5.
The festival is centered at Sam Boyd Stadium on Oct. 28 and 29 but there are tie-in performances that begin Oct. 27 and run through the following Tuesday, which is Halloween.
Tickets for Vegoose 2006 go on sale Aug. 19 at 10 a.m. at www.vegoose.com.
