From the Associated Press
Toyota Motor Corp. reported that November was its 25th straight month of growth in worldwide production as it closed in on General Motors Corp.’s position as the world’s biggest vehicle maker.
However, Nissan Motor Co., Japan’s No. 2 carmaker, said it produced fewer cars in November than a year earlier.
Toyota said its global production totaled 736,003 vehicles in November, up 12.3% from the same month last year. Nissan said global production fell 1.1% to 291,737 vehicles in November.
