More than 100 killed in flooding
From Times Wire Reports
At least 109 people have been killed by flooding and landslides on Indonesia’s Sumatra island, emergency officials said. Nearly 370,000 were displaced by several days of heavy rain, they said.
Food and medicine were being flown by helicopter to six northern and eastern districts where an estimated 1,400 homes were submerged.
