Misfortunes happen; you don’t have to sue
Regarding “Taco Bell feels fallout from E. coli outbreak,” Dec. 9:
Living life involves risk. Anytime something bad happens, many people look for someone to sue.
It is unfortunate that people got sick from food that apparently came from Taco Bell.
If it’s established that the company’s management did something intentionally (not inadvertently) wrong, then perhaps these victims have standing in court.
More likely, however, these people are victims of an unfortunate circumstance of life. Stop these unnecessary lawsuits.
