Design contest entries sought

The Gold Nugget Awards competition is accepting entries for its 43rd annual design-and-planning competition celebrating “The Best in the West.”

Categories include green-built, adaptive-reuse, loft and live-work projects; custom, detached and attached homes; and senior housing, among others.

Projects from 14 Western states and the Pacific Rim countries are eligible. Fees and applications are due by March 31; April 14 is the entry submittal deadline.

The awards, sponsored by Builder magazine and PCBC (the Pacific Coast Builders Conference), will be presented June 22 in San Francisco at PCBC.
