You may have heard of DINKs -- couples with a double income, no kids. Now, according to one recent consumer survey, we have CLAPPers, or children living at parents’ place.

This isn’t the boomerang generation, young adults 18 to 34 who have returned to live with Mom and Dad.

CLAPPers are older -- 45 to 74 -- and they represent one-quarter of the respondents in a recent survey of baby boomers by the Deloitte & Touche financial consultancy firm.
