Boy Convicted of Killings on Newsman’s Ranch
From Times Wire Reports
Jurors in Alamogordo convicted a 16-year-old boy in the deaths of his family on newsman Sam Donaldson’s ranch.
Cody Posey was accused of killing his father, stepmother and stepsister and hiding their bodies in a manure pile in 2004. His father was the ranch foreman.
The defense had claimed the deaths were self-defense after Posey had suffered years of physical and mental abuse.
