Regarding Jan C. Gabrielson’s Jan. 15 letter on “The Verdict’s In: Author Says Even Lawyers Laugh at the Jokes,” Jan. 9:

Since when are lawyers haplessly born into Bar Assn. membership? Methinks someone needs to loosen up.
