The Brothers Davis hit again

As if the Cahuenga Corridor isn’t hot enough, Art and Allan Davis have swooped in and purchased a 27,000-square-foot property at 6417 Selma near Cahuenga. The Davis brothers, who developed such clubs as the Gate and the Lounge and are currently designing a high-end burlesque club at 7969 Santa Monica Blvd., say they’re planning to use the property to build a boutique hotel (possibly called the Chelsea), along with a swanky downstairs bar/lounge. And the space comes with some cool history: In the 1920s, it was owned by Howard Hughes, who used it as his personal garage.... Paris bumped into Paris at the Lobby in WeHo last week. The former couple (Hilton and Latsis) shared an awkward hello and the poor boy looked broken-hearted.... Paris’ little sister Nicky is taking over Light nightclub at Vegas’ Bellagio Hotel tonight for a “Chick” fashion show and post-party.... And starlet Jaime Pressly (“My Name Is Earl”) is heading to Ceasars Palace in Vegas on Tuesday to host a “Cuffs by Linz” fashion show at Pure Nightclub.... Dr. Dre and Nick Lachey kicked it at Katana on the Strip last Thursday.

Colter rounds them up

Singer Jessi Colter attracted actress Gina Gershon, singer Shelby Lynne, Matthew McConaughey, her son Shooter Jennings and Drea de Matteo to her Viper Room gig last Wednesday.... Pop singer Tiffany is set to perform new and old dance hits on Friday at the Factory in WeHo.... Amoeba Music on Sunset is throwing a Mardi Gras party with Soda and His Million Piece Band at 5 p.m. Tuesday. There’s even a parade.... And on Monday, the Sutra Lounge in Costa Mesa is hosting a Mardi Gras bash featuring the blues band Oozie Blues, and a special Creole and Cajun menu.... Jack Osbourne is co-hosting a party each Monday at On the Rox on the Strip. Expect go-go dancers, live music and karaoke....

Junior Senior’s Jeppe Laursen is launching a monthly shindig at Akbar in Silver Lake, along with pal DJ Rudy Bleu. The night, titled Break-A-Way, kicks off March 5, with special guest DJ Peaches. Break-A-Way hits the first Sunday of every month.

A very moving performance

The ‘80s rock musical “Rock of Ages” moves from the Vanguard to RenMar Studios next Thursday night; the show has been extended through March 18 (info at www.rockofagesmusical.com).... Jazz lovers may want to check out Club Bar at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, where various ensembles perform Thursday through Saturday, sans cover.... Among those angling for good fortune at Karma Entertainment’s weekly club promotion at Mood on Tuesdays are Christina Aguilera, Flavor Flav, “Jackass” Steve-O and slugger Jose Canseco.

Magic spreads the love

Those lucky enough to crash Magic Johnson’s bash at the Sherman Oaks Galleria on Feb. 11 were treated to some great freebies: plasma TVs, autographed high school jerseys, floor seats for the Lakers and $100 bills out of the man’s pocket, all to celebrate the expansion of his 24-Hour Fitness gym at the Galleria. Man knows how to party.
