Mac and cheese at Canter’s

Your list of places serving delicious macaroni and cheese neglected a restaurant where most people would never think of ordering this for dinner: Canter’s Delicatessen [“City Feel, but With the Tastes of Home,” by Irene Virbila, Feb. 16].

A friend who moved from L.A. misses it so much that she sets aside time on her visits to have dinner at Canter’s. We suspect that’s the reason she comes here, and visiting with friends is of secondary importance.
