Re “Putting a Cork in Teen Parties,” Dec. 24

From the time kids are old enough to turn on the TV, the public airwaves encourage teens and anyone watching to drink and, as of late, to “drink responsibly.” Drinking at home with chaperoning parents is drinking a lot more responsibly than the way I used to do it 40 years ago.
