Hooray for Joe Robinson supporting paid maternity leave. Just don’t forget us adoptive parents. The lack of paid leave for adoption ends up locking out many people who would otherwise be able to adopt a child. A family is a family, no matter how it is created.

U.S. corporations running international operations must follow local customs. In Britain, for example, American companies provide their British employees with a minimum of four weeks annual leave, paid maternity and paternity leave, etc. Surely the American workers deserve no less.
