2 Plead Not Guilty in Death of Inmate

Two inmates pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges of killing and torturing another inmate inside the Men’s Central Jail in November.
Christian Perez, 18, in jail on murder and carjacking charges, and Heriberto Rodriguez, 24, charged with carjacking, could face the death penaltydue to the special-circumstance allegation of torture.
Chadwick Shane Cochran, 35, was beaten and stomped to death.
